Marina Del Rey, California

The 5th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing in Sensor Systems (DCOSS '09) will take place on Marina Del Rey, California, USA during Monday, June 8 - Wednesday, June 10, 2009.

DCOSS 2009 is a highly selective conference and features a single track of 26 papers reporting on state-of-the-art research on:
- Algorithms and Analysis
- Applications and Systems
- Signal Processing and Information Theory

The advance program includes the schedule and titles of each presented paper.

Please see for detailed information on the keynote addresses to be presented at DCOSS'09. Keynote addresses to be presented at DCOSS'09 include:

"Compressive Sensing: an Overview",
Emmanuel J. Candes, Calfornia Institute of Technology

"Smart Grid - Convergence for a Future Energy Transmission and Distribution
System with Wireless communications, Sensors/Monitors, RFID and I.T."
Rajit Gadh, University of California at Los Angeles

The conference is co-located with seven closely related workshops, which will be held Wednesday, June 10:

- Third International Workshop on Localized Algorithms and Protocols for
Wireless Sensor Networks (LOCALGOS)
- Second International Workshop on Sensor Network Engineering (IWSNE)
- Second Workshop on Energy in Wireless Sensor Networks (WEWSN)
- Third International Workshop on Information Theory for Sensor Networks (WITS)
- International Workshop on Robotic Wireless Sensor Networks
- First International Workshop on Data Warehousing and Knowledge Discovery from
Sensors and Streams
- International Workshop on Integration of the Real World and the Future
Internet (RWI)
