The First (ACM) International Conference on Internet Multimedia Computing and Service (ICIMCS’2009) will focus on a wide variety of key issues and investigate new approaches to tackle problems arising from the fast-growing multimedia data on internet and users’ diverse requirement for multimedia service.
The ICIMCS'2009 is a forum for researchers from the academia and the industry, professionals, standard developers to exchange information on the state-of-the-art of internet multimedia information processing technologies and applications, as well as to identify the emerging research topics and define the future of multimedia information computing from internet.
The conference invites original technical papers that were not previously published and are not currently under review for publication elsewhere. Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Basic techniques for image, video and audio processing
- Learning techniques for large scale multimedia annotation and classification
- Image/Video indexing, query and re-ranking
- Performance evaluation for large scale multimedia processing
- Cross media computing by integrating visual, aural and textual information
- Human factor issues for internet multimedia computing
- Adaptive multimedia accessing and browsing for mobile equipment
- Digital right management and data protection for multimedia
- Novel multimedia data management systems and applications
