Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before June 15, 2009, a 1-2 page manuscript proposal clearly explaining the mission and concerns of the proposed chapter.
Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by June 30, 2009 about the status of their proposals. Upon acceptance, authors will have until October 10, 2009, to prepare their article of 4,000-8,000 words and 7-10 related terms and their appropriate definitions. Guidelines for preparing your article and terms and definitions will be sent to you upon acceptance of your proposal. All submitted articles will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis.
This handbook of research is expected to include at least 50 articles.
The book is scheduled to be published in 2010 by IGI Global, http://www.igi-global.com, publisher of Information Science Reference (formerly Idea Group Reference), Medical Information Science Reference, and IGI Publishing imprints.

LaTex files cannot be accepted.
Authors will be notified within one week about the status of their proposals.
Authors of accepted proposals will be sent guidelines to prepare the full chapter (7,000 – 10,000 words) and will have three months after notification to submit the full chapter.
All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis by two or three reviewers.
