CALL FOR PAPERS - EXTENDED DEADLINE: JUNE 20, 2009
International Workshop on
"Intelligent Image Processing and Artificial Vision (IIPAV)"
http://www.softcomputing.es/
held in conjunction with Int. Conference on
Intelligent Systems Design and Applications (ISDA 2009)
November 30 – December 2, 2009
Pisa (ITALY)
==============================
For many real-world vision and imaging problems, the available information is imprecise,
uncertain, and/or incomplete, making it difficult to solve these problems. Intelligent systems
have demonstrated that they are capable to exploit the tolerance for imprecision,
uncertainty, partial truth, and approximation to achieve tractability, robustness, lower cost
and better fit with reality. Consequently, the application of intelligent methodologies in
image processing and artificial vision has increased over the last few years with many
interesting approaches having been introduced. This special session aims to integrate state
of the art approaches applying intelligent systems to tackle image processing and artificial
vision problems.
